How to play

  1. Look

Press Start to reveal the 3-digit number for level 1.

  2. Recall

Wait for the number to disappear, then enter every digit in the same order.

  3. Go one digit further

Each correct answer adds one digit. Complete level 10 to recall a 12-digit number; one incorrect answer ends the run.

Inside the game

What is Number Memory?

Number Memory is a 10-level digit-recall game. It begins with three randomly generated digits and adds one digit after every correct answer, ending at 12 digits. Enter exactly the requested number of digits. Incomplete or non-digit entries need correction; a complete but incorrect answer ends the run.

How your score works

Your score is the length of the longest number you entered correctly in that run, from 3 through 12 digits. If you miss the first level, the score is 0. It is a game result, not an assessment of ability.

More about your scores →

Example: keep the order

If the display shows 482917, enter 482917 as one uninterrupted six-digit answer. Treating it as 482 and 917 may help you hold it in mind, but the submitted answer must still contain all six digits in their original order.

Playing tips

  1. Make small groups while looking

For 482719, try rehearsing 48 / 27 / 19 on one run, or 482 / 719 on another. Keep every digit in its original order and enter 482719 without spaces. Choose one grouping that feels manageable; the game does not award extra points for a particular method.

  2. Rehearse without changing the digits

Repeat the sequence silently in the exact order shown. Avoid turning it into a date, calculation, or reordered number, because the game checks every position.

  3. Compare the mistake, then change one thing

If the revealed number was 482719 but you remember entering 482179, the middle digits changed order. Rehearse the boundary between your groups on the next run. If you forgot the final group instead, try spending less time repeating the beginning. Keep the device and input method similar when comparing attempts; there is no need to judge your memory from one result.

  4. Group the digits

Group a long string into two- or three-digit chunks before it vanishes.

  5. Keep the original order

Keep the original order instead of rearranging digits into a familiar number.

  6. Check before submitting

Use the keyboard number row or the on-screen field, but submit only after checking each digit.

Questions, answered.

Results describe this game session. They are not IQ scores, diagnoses or clinical assessments.

No. Enter the digits as one continuous string, exactly as they appeared.

Each run uses a single-error finish so that the final score reflects the last sequence you recalled correctly.

Yes. A leading zero is part of the displayed sequence, so include it when you type the answer.

The game asks you to enter the exact displayed digit count. Correct the entry before submitting a complete answer.
