Game answers stay in your browser

Games run on your device. We do not send your answers or scores to an application server, ask you to create an account, or collect a name or email address through the site. We do not add answers, typed passages or scores to analytics events.

What is saved locally

The browser’s local storage holds your best score, latest score, number of completed runs and last-played date for each game. Daily Word Search saves found words and hints; Pattern Recognition saves answers. Mini Sudoku and CalcuDoku save entries, notes and hints; Nonogram saves marks and hints; Word Ladder saves your route and hints. These daily drafts stay in this browser. Practice drafts and undo history are not saved. A separate preference remembers your light or dark theme. This is not a cloud backup and does not follow you to another browser or device.

You can remove game results and daily puzzle progress using Clear my game history on My Progress. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes both game results and your saved theme.

Loading the website

Requests for pages, fonts and game files include ordinary network information such as your IP address and browser headers. The hosting provider processes requests to deliver and protect the website. Fonts and game assets are served with the site; games do not embed third-party players.

Analytics and session replay

On the production site, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and Microsoft Clarity to review navigation, clicks, heatmaps and session replays. With analytics enabled, GA4 also records when a game starts, completes or restarts, with the game identifier and daily, practice or standard mode. These events exclude answers and scores. These providers may receive page URLs, approximate location, browser and device details, and interaction data. Game areas and locally stored progress are marked for masking in Clarity; input fields are also masked.

Analytics scripts load on the production site. Analytics storage is enabled by default, and the first page visit may be measured before you make a choice. The cookie notice lets you accept or reject analytics storage. Rejecting updates Google Analytics and Clarity for future activity; your choice is saved in this browser and applied before analytics tags on later visits. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change it. Advertising storage stays disabled, Clarity project cookies are turned off, and we do not run advertising scripts. Read Google’s privacy policy and the Microsoft privacy statement for details about their processing.

Storage restrictions

You can play without allowing local storage, but personal results, daily puzzle progress and theme preferences may not persist. Private browsing may clear them when your session ends.
